Happy, smiling cops.

Firefighters responding to a fire discovered $78,000 in marijuana plants in a Weber County basement.

Authorities said they discovered the setup in the basement as firefighters searched the house Saturday to make sure the flames were out.

Officials were clued-in when they saw a basement window from outside, but only an interior wall inside. Firefighters said they knocked a hole in the wall and found about 130 plants behind it.

Don’t you love how happy those cops look. Oh, this story killed Mari. The moral is: Don’t grow a whole house full of pot near a school and let it catch on fire.

Something’s been bothering Mari lately…

One, two, buckle your shoe

Instead of any of those numbers² , Misstuned has a big fat 0. A goose egg.

And it wasn’t until Mari really thought about it, that Mari realized why Mari has been unceremoniously dropped from Google. Mari links to a so-called³ “bad neighborhood” on the web.

Record Label Sued for Piracy

Anyone else just love that title? Mari can’t get enough of it.

Record label Sony BMG, one of the most vocal and ferocious opponents of music piracy, has been accused of using unlawfully installed programs on its computers by a small software company.

French company PointDev, which makes applications for Microsoft Windows, claims to have discovered pirated versions of its software installed on Sony BMG computers and is suing the label for €300,000 ($514,910).

PointDev said it was alerted to the illegal software after a Sony BMG employee rang the software company’s technical support number for assistance and gave a pirated product key when asked for a customer number, French website 01net reported.

A raid on the French offices of Sony BMG in January revealed that almost half of the software used by the company may be unlawfully installed, according to the report.
