Basically, this is a website written and managed by that Mari that you keep hearing about. Mari uses this as an outlet for herself, and writes about things in a web log, or big list of separate writings, often called entries or posts. The most recent posts display on the front page, and they can be navigated chronologically by clicking on the “1, 2, 3, etc.” page links at the bottom of the site.

The purpose of this site is to hold the things Mari writes that may be important to other people. This was originally a “personal site”, which contained diary-styled posts, but Mari decided against that, because Mari’s diary entries are too boring for people to read.

The topics on this site vary as does Mari’s interest in them. Sometimes this site is used to express Mari’s opinions, other times it is used to make note of things Mari would like to remember. Usually these are major events in science or perhaps local or global news headlines.
