News Bits 11 June - 17 June

US News

Entertainment News

World News

Non-Depressing News ((not quite uplifting, but it’s apparently the closest we’ll be getting to it for a while))

I didn’t miss anything huge, did I? A meteor didn’t crash into a major city and I was too stupid to read about it, right? If you’ve got anything else to add, say so in a comment, please.  I’ll include it in Thursday’s post 4

  1. LULZ, oh mainstream news, u amuses me []
  2. For serious, does anyone watch golf? []
  3. Check this post for the previous story about the Akihabara stabbings []
  4. Especially if it’s non-depressing. Jeez, reading the news is always a bummer, y’know? []

    First, I like this layout. :D
    Second, I like what you have done with the site. I think more of your comments would really add to it though. :)
    I don’t watch golf. I find it boring. :/ That little ‘golf clap’ gets annoying too. lol

    Nice news. Barack Obama and Hilary Clinton are campaigning together! They start next week!

    BTW:

    Jamie Lynn Spears POPPED! Baby Girl named Maddie Briann. :)

    Stupid gas prices… Here in Canada they’re pretty damn high as well. It makes it difficult for a university student such as myself to go home. :(

    Oh I’ve missed that copycat stabbers thing! O_O;;

    @Becca

    Thankya! I was wondering what people thought about the layout and the news thing. Not too many people have been commenting, so I figured everyone thought it sucks as much as I do.

    Well, most of my other comments on the stuff there would have been quite biased and wrong and offensive and downright…well it’d be pure jackassery. Or asshattery. Take your pick.

    I find golf boring too. I won’t even fall asleep to golf, it’s that boring.

    Forsrs? …It’s forsrs, guys.

    Maybe I should just cut out my entertainment section, because I honestly don’t follow entertainment news when there’s nothing on TV. Unless I hear someone died, or there’s a new movie out (OMG THE DARK KNIGHT in JULY!!!! </dork>), there’s really nothing going on to entertain me in the summer.

    @Zuzsiq

    Actually, baseball is the only sport I know of that’s going on in the US right now. Training camps start in July for American football, but really, there’s not much else. Hockey season ended early this month, and basketball season ended earlier this month.

    Hurrah! I fixed the link. ;]

    And… I really dislike people who dislike nudity. Tasteful nudity is a-okay in my books.

    It turns out, in fact, that the new principal of my school is the reason we art kids don’t get live, nude models to sketch in grade 12. |: He’s a super! Christian and worked at some troubled Christian school. He obviously thinks that the school I attend (which has one of the only good rep’s in my city (all the other schools have horrible rep’s)) is teh troubled and will… jump the nude model or something. @__@

    SUFJHDFJfdf.dfsdf.g.

    Nudity is tasteful. It can be very, very taseful! But some people don’t see it that way (this includes deviantART admins. They have been known to delete male nude photos, but not female nudes. Hmm. >> )

Please take care to read the Commenting Policy before you comment. FAILURE TO DO SO and subsequent violation of will make you look like an idiot. And I'll point it out and laugh so hard I cry.
