I KNOW, GUYS
*first-person* Before anyone starts - YES I KNOW MY LAYOUT IS F***ED. Please don’t comment telling me my layout is F***ED, ‘coz I obviously already know. I happen to know exactly why, too.
As it happens, I was attempting to upgrade to Wordpress 2.5.1 today and it exploded on me.1 The problem is the widgets.php file in the wp-includes directory, and I honestly can’t do anything about it. I reuploaded it, still not fixed. I uploaded the WordPress 2.5 version, still not fixed. I deactivated all plugins and then refreshed, still not fixed. My only recourse is to go on the WordPress Support Forums, but unfortunately I’m on the school laptop right now, and am prevented from retrieving my password to the forum2 in order to post on the forum.3.
In short: I can’t manage to fix it right now. It’s not that important to me, really. I have things to do like laundry and there’s a Pens game4 in two and a half hours, I’m not ’bout to go turn on the old, slowass computer just to fix this tonight. Maybe if the Pens win and I’m in a good mood I’ll futz around trying to get the old computer to work to try to fix this, but it probably won’t happen today.
- As standard WordPress installs and upgrades have been doing recently. I really should have expected it. [↩]
- Which is mailed to the registrant - smart to prevent forum spamming and give everyone strong passwords, but quite inconvenient for me. [↩]
- Gmail is blocked, as is Yahoo Mail and Hotmail and just about everything save your own domain’s email if you have that, and I don’t - too lazy to set it up. [↩]
- GO PENSSSS!!! YEAYEA!!! *hops up and down madly* [↩]

Oy, I hate upgrading WP. Things rarely seemed to go smoothly for me, so I installed a WP instant upgrade plugin that does the job for me and so far, no problems
I hope you get the issue fixed, once you have the time for it

Hope it gets fixed soon! I guess a temporary way out is to stop using widgets and just re-code the sidebar in xhtml.

@Jonathan
Perhaps! I’m just trying not to jinx the Pens. I’m one of those crazy sports fans who believes everything and anything is a jinx or anti-jinx in regards to my teams. XDD

BUT, BUT!!! I’S TOO LAZY.
Plus, I actually can’t access or remember what’s on my sidebar after the blogroll. (Gee I suck at life. XD)

Oh! I’m sorry! I’m such an idiot. I left cforms unactivated after I deactivated all my plugins. D’oh!
