I signed the petion as well, like Julie, but then it seemed like that effort came to a crashing halt. Thank you for continuing to keep a watch on this for us and providing that page with the ready-made message to shoot off to our congressmen and women. I took advantage of it and sent one off to mine.

Yeah. We shouldn’t have to beg them to get up off their butts and help us. Isn’t that why we elect them to office in the first place? To serve us? Lazy bums.

(Mari loves that word too. Mari first saw it on BoingBoing, and sorta unofficially adopted it into her vocabulary.)

Isn’t it great when you have to beg your ‘congresscritters” (i lurve that by the way) to do something? I’ve heard about this before, I signed something like this petition when it first came out, and never heard about it again. Just signed it again, maybe my action will help.
