Do you know how little Mari cares that she’s on anyone’s “haters list”? Seriously, do you have any idea how much sleep Mari’s losing at night over it? Mari will clue you in. Mari can separate the Internet from tangible reality, most likely unlike you, and Mari realizes that what happens on here, aside from emailing to and chatting with people you actually know in real life doesn’t matter. Aside from talking to Mari’s IRL friends and blood relatives on the Internet, Mari considers this a fun diversion. Mari doesn’t care about “e-drama”, because when Mari stops looking at this screen, it all goes away. Since you’re obviously so vain (aren’t we all just a little for being on here making websites?) that you care about having a “haters list” on the Internet, you probably can’t comprehend this, but the Internet is not real. It is truly a virtual world, a world that does not exist. This could fry your brain, but some people can totally separate themselves from this nonexistant world for DAYS, and not have any problems except for backed up email. So, in short, the only sleep Mari ever loses over the Internet is when Mari has to get up early to check her mail after being off of the Internet for a week, before going on with her actual life. Since comments on this site aren’t on email notification, Mari loses no sleep over it.

And don’t you dare respond to that with “Well you care enough to type all that!” The only reason Mari’s responding to you is that Mari is amused. You bothered to respond to Mari’s article (about another person’s article talking about you) that didn’t even really talk about you (the article focused on Jem’s behavior, just FYI since you didn’t read it) with some misspelled, incoherent comment, and this amused Mari. Talk about a pitbull seeing red and trying to bite everything it sees. Sheesh, it’s pure, indirect, misguided anger. Mari is highly amused, actually laughing in real life, that you would bother to post that on the Internet. That you care so much about some silly stuff in a world that doesn’t exist that you would come to a site that references you in order to talk about Internet behavior and spew that crap. That’s actually funny. -Mari’s on cold meds, so Mari can’t condense her thoughts, and Mari is sort of rambling here. Let’s just wrap this up so Mari can get back to some chicken noodle soup.- Your behavior is sad and therefore, funny. No one else cares about the Internet this badly except for people who need it this badly. You obviously have some serious real life issues, you went onto the Internet to escape them, and now they’re spilling onto the Internet, where you’re trying to be something you’re not, and since you’re acting just like yourself again, your fantasy is broken. We’ve all tried to be something we’re not before, some of us have tried it on the Internet like you, so we are amused by it. You react very badly to anything trying to infringe on your fantasy world where you’re not who you are, and this also amuses everyone. In the end, you’re acting like a jackass and it’s funny. Like those kids who get hurt trying to do skateboard tricks on TV.

A note: since you’re obviously not trying to say anything intelligent, just spewing misspelled insults, Mari should delete this. Mari doesn’t allow this sort of abuse on her site, as per the comment policy. Jem is a valued visitor, and thusly that comment should be stricken from the record. However, Mari is keeping it for amusement (also Mari knows Jem can take it; you don’t make it that long on the Internet without being able to deal with jackasses). Mari thought her spelling and grammar were awful with the whole writing in third person thing, but not after reading and translating this. Sheesh! You should win an award for that.

One final thought: if some stupid kid typing in third person is more coherent than you (while on cold meds), you should be worried.

Yeah, Mari’s bad at paying attention on the Internets recently, with extra lack of reading discussion on posts. RSS feeds are too addictive, and with the ability to subscribe to 600 sites, it basically ensures that the reader (Mari) begins to behave like a child with ADD with regards to reading comprehension and attention to detail on the actual site. But then again, before Mari started using RSS readers, Mari almost never kept up with personal sites like Jem’s, instead only reading the big blogs like BoingBoing and news sources.

…and as to how a post about edrama and netiquette in regards to personal ability to throw stones leads Mari to babble about the double-edged sword of RSS readers in the comments….

Really? That’s the first Mari’s ever seen of Jem’s fantastically-sized ego getting a scratch. Then again, Mari’s been reading in an RSS reader, so Mari’s not keeping up with the comments too well.

Mari usually avoids it like a plague, but RSS feeds were sort of dead on 30 December, when Jem’s first BarbiLee post popped up, so it was entertaining. Mari compares this to how the Writer’s Strike has killed TV (*sob* No more Heroes!), so Mari actually watched “Dance War” last night.

I tend to avoid edrama, unless I’m gobsmack in the middle of it, and even then, I tend to try and stand on the fence as much as possible. I only started reading this after see this post. Frankly there are just too many people like BarbiLee on the internet to get fussed over.
