This is the first edition of Wisdom Wednesday, a column where Mari imparts a simple one-liner of wisdom to the reader, being of a meditative and serious nature. Please read and think.

1 Of course, Mari is not the first person to have thought about the psychology of why some people use the Internet, but Mari would like to imagine she’s the first to use those exact words.

Well, you could say that about anything, right? I mean people watch TV for a reason, they go for walks, read a book, etc. Not to stomp all over your quote and all, but I feel as if there’s not much substance behind that quote, you know? To me, it feels like stating the obvious. Perhaps if you expanded on that quote a little, to impart some more wisdom, that would be better.

Mari must note, sharing the applied meaning of this is the intention of the post. The important part regarding the applied meaning of the quote was the bit right before it, “This one is for when someone is getting on your nerves on the Internets,”. However, to prove beyond a doubt that this actually means something, Mari will expound in tomorrow’s post.
Perhaps this post is meant for those who aren’t as grown up and able to separate Internet from real life as Julie and Maria?
