Earnings for Charity - Part Two

Remember how Mari pledged to donate any money she makes this month1 2 to the Susan G. Komen charity?

Lookit!

Screen capture of Mari's PayPerPost post list for the month. Shows eight sponsored posts with monetary values totalling $122.26

Mari has met her goal of $100 to pay the bills3 and also made $22.26 in PPP earnings which will be donated to the Susan G. Komen charity! Woohoo.

Other Posts of Interest:

1 Any amount exceeding 100 dollars. Mari has bills to pay, and $100 is just enough to keep the collection agency from knocking at Mari’s door. Now, in case you think this is greedy, Mari will have you know that Mari’s website income (PayPerPost, Text Link Ads) is Mari’s only source of income. As in, Mari will live on only 100 dollars this month, and it will all be going to bills. No money for luxuries or buying health-conscious food choices. Mari will be mooching food off her parents, and they eat the greasiest, fattiest, cholesterol-est, sugariest food you’ve ever seen.

2 Excluding any money Mari makes on 21 October (today). That’s when Mari will finally, very belatedly have posted her Blog Action Day post. Any money Mari makes that day will go to the National Wildlife Federation, as decided in this post. Hooray for saving wildlife!
Mari can’t use today’s earnings, because she can’t post any more PPP posts today, plus it would really set her back for donating to the Breast Cancer charity.
3 With the help of a check for $15.69 from FlipSwap (aka CellPhoneTradeIns.com), which Mari has posted about before.

    Congrats on meeting your goal! Pay Per Post is a great (and easy) way to make money, I love it. That’s really cool of you to donate some of your earnings for charity.

    Meeting your goal was great. It’s hard to get donations and help via the internet nowadays so that’s very admirable.

    Congratulations on meeting your goal Mari. Secondly, I think that’s wonderful that you donated the rest to a charity of your choice. You rock!

    Congratulations on meeting your goal! That is a really nice thing to do.

    @Erin

    Thanks! Yeah, PayPerPost is an easy way to make cash. If you’re the type who can follow rules. Mari has been unhappy with PPP recently.

    @Chanel

    Yeah, it’s pretty good to meet goals. It gives you that feeling of accomplishment, you know?

    It is hard to get donations in general. People seem to just not care anymore.

    @Joana

    Well, actually haven’t yet. You know how long PPP takes to get you the money. So Mari will be donating in November, actually.

    @Kaz

    Thanks!

    Wow, good for you… giving to charity! Yay. Rock on!

    I put up Google ads on my site only because I don’t want my own pocket money to pay for my hosting. At the rate of clicks on my site… well, it’s not a whole lot… and I still might need use my own money for hosting and domain renewal. Also, apparently Google is making it harder now for us to make money on clicks… as they’re making the “clickable areas smaller” to prevent accidental clicks. Bummer.

    I’ve considered PPP stuff, but for now I won’t… It’s hard enough for me to find time to write about things I’m interested in (MYSELF, LOL)… so I doubt I’ll be motivated to write about PPP stuff…

    @Fruity

    Still waiting on the money for that…lousy PPP!

    Really? Mari hadn’t heard about the preventing accidental clicks…hmm. Well, Mari wouldn’t make any money off of ads anyway.

    PPP sucks. Don’t bother. Mari’s about to write a scathing review of it sometime this week…
