Forget Dictionary.com
Check this out. Word Source is a new online dictionary that lets you type in a word from your browser’s address and has no annoying ads in the middle of the page.
For example, if I wanted to know the meaning of cantankerous, instead of having to go to the url http://word.sc I just type into my browser’s address bar http://word.sc/cantankerous and voila, the definition pops up, no extraneous page loading needed.
I’m a dork, so I need definitions a lot, and this page will be a huge help. Thanks to Techcrunch for the original article.

Although that is handy, I’m a Firefox user and prefer the Answers extension. A simple Alt+Click. I’m a lazy dork, so I need definitions and even less work.
@Josh
I couldn’t stand the Answers extension. It messed with my outdated scripts in Greasemonkey.
Lmao, less typing is good, but wow that’s lazy. XD
That’s a pretty useful link site to know about. I use dictionary.com all the time and it’s a pain.
@Melissa
Dictionary.com was pretty useful before they added all the ads and the stupid stuff, but since then I’ve been using a dead-tree dictionary rather than an online one. It’s nice to finally have a useful online dictionary again. =)
That’s pretty neat. I do that with http://www.m-w.com/ but instead I have to put /dictionary/ at the end. Still works great though!
