The Leaves Are Falling
For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, the leaves are beginning to fall off the trees.
Makes me wish I had a nice camera.
In my mind, fall is beautiful colors, foggy mornings, scarves, long-sleeved shirts, and rain. Football (not soccer, American football) every Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Dressing up like something ridiculous every 31 October. Being able to see your own breath in the cold morning air. Turning on the furnace. Wearing dark colors. Dyeing my hair darker. New seasons of The Simpsons, Family Guy, South Park, and Nip/Tuck.
What is fall to you?
Post Script - I hope the by-week did some good for the Steelers, because the last two games were abysmal. Whoo! Go Steelers! I’m looking forward to Sunday night.

Fall to me is all about taking trips to MA for the October festivals, my boyfriends birthday, and layering my clothes and not sweating to death haha. I love the fall! I’ve already taken some nice pictures of the trees in my yard.
Raking leaves, wearing sweaters, seeing the trees turn, smelling the sweet autumn air…I really love fall. (:
I like the fall too. I find it to be very calming for me and I love it when it’s cloudy and slightly cold outside.
I love fall. It’s just that simple. I love everything about it. I think I love the changes in color the most. Scratch that. I love the weather cooling off. I love the rain. (It rains a lot here in Washington State in the fall. It’s our “rainy season”.) The only season I love more is winter. ^^

Fall, or rather - Autumn - is everything you listed for me (except football AND soccer, I have no interest in either). I made a similar list a few weeks back at my blog, saying how I couldn’t wait to start university because of all the stuff you’ve mentioned. My only problem is you guys get the new Nip/Tuck before we do, and the wait is ABSOLUTELY KILLING ME! *dead*
My new camera is beautiful - may I recommend a Sony Cybershot DSC-S600 - it’s a sleek little baby, and I adore it. I just need some cool batteries first, then I can start shooting properly. From the few test shots I’ve done, it’s a beauty ♥
Fall gives me time enough to work out so that I can shovel in the winter when it snows relentlessly.
Yeah, the leaves are starting to fall. It’s really pretty. =) Yeah, all those things are for the same for me, too, except for some of the TV shows. I hate seeing my own breath, it means I’m so cold that I have to entertain myself to keep my mind away from everything.
I live in Northern Ontario and almost all of our leaves are gone. It’s pretty sad lol. My dad lives in Southern Ontraio and theirs are just turning -.-
Fall, for me, is leaves on the ground and rich, warm colors. The weather starts to get cooler, and it makes me think of family and holidays together. It’s probably my favorite season of the year.
I love the fall too, it’s a beautiful time of the year. I love when they leaves change and of course new seasons of your favorite shows! I wear fall colors all year round though, I love earthy tones. That’s cool though that you dye your hair with the seasons.
