Theme Remixed and Delicious Diet

I mentioned I was getting sick of my old theme in my last post. Ta-da! I remixed the old theme.

This is the old theme (click to enlarge):

And this is the new theme (click to enlarge):

(The screenshots of the new theme are there in case the new theme does not display correctly, and so I have a reference when I next change themes.)

Thoughts on the new theme? What in particular do you like/dislike about it?

If anyone can name 10 things I changed between the themes, they get a present.
I’m not kidding. Tell me what I changed and get a present!

A few months ago, we cleaned out an old bookcase, and I stole away with a few old books destined for the dump. One of these books was entitled The Encyclopedia of Slimming Diets. As I was attempting to battle the Curiously Sentient Ball of Garbage that reformed in my room, I came across this book. Rather, it came across me. Hard. On the head. As luck would have it, it landed on one of the latter pages that detailed a two month diet that allows one to eat all the meat, fruits, veggies, and drink all the tea they can handle. And lose 28-30 pounds while doing so.

This is my delicious new diet. Instead of simply starving myself, I’ll eat tasty food that’s good for me.

Have you ever gone on a diet?

Did it work?

Tell me what you think of dieting!

The changes you’ve made to the theme look rather nice. I could probably come up with 10 differences but being as it’s 6am and I can barely see, I doubt I’d be any good at it…lol.

The only diet that ever worked for me was the Micheal Thurmond “Six Week Body” you basically eat every 2 hours but small healthy meals. This will jumpstart your metabolism and you’ll drop weight rather quickly. I’ve only lost like 15lbs so far, but I’ve only been on it for a little over a month so I’m sure that doesn’t help very much. It’s no secret that you have to eat to lose weight though. Starving yourself would get you absolutely no where, and no doctor would recommend it either. I think you should look into the “Six Week Body” there’s loads of recipes and lots of interesting things like “Blue Printing” and what not.
Good Luck either way, I hope you get an answer that you’re looking for. Or just find something on your own that works for you too.

    well let me try. lol
    1. The background color is a little different..
    2. the border around the outside is gone I think.
    3. There’s now three lines at the top
    4. The links are green now
    5. There’s only 3 links at the top instead of six now
    6. The lines and links are new colors
    7. The d is now a pink note
    8. I think the content is wider now..
    9. Navigation replaced save the internet
    10. I really can’t name anything else.

Now that was fun wasn’t it?? I don’t need a prize though :p

Have fun with that new diet lol.

I’ve came here before with the old theme. I like the new theme better because it looks less cluttered and the colors are nice.

    I don’t like the lime green links and text though. It’s hard to read. O_o;

people would lose weight if they didn’t eat carbs after 6pm. The new theme is great

the remix of two themes looks great! I love the colors and it’s nice :) Well, speaking of diet, I did go starving hungry (which is close to getting a diet) a few days ago when I was stuck on the computer for so long XD which is unhealthy but otherwise Salad worked on me and my weight has amazingly reduced! o_O lol anyhow that was a random thought X)

I quite liked the old theme… I prefer the old colours. I think it’s because I like lots of colour that work well together, and boxes. Heh.

I’ve never dieted. I don’t think I need to, as I’m happy with how I look and I can climb a flight of stairs. I think people should diet if it makes them happy, and only to the point of being healthy. Nobody should diet to please someone else, and it should never be taken to extremes.

I love the remix. I can name a few changes in it. Though i really don’t want to right now. I’m just not in the mood sorry. :[

Aww I love your new remix of your old layout :) as far as dieting goes I think it could work as long as you can ban yourself from all the stuff that can be not so good for you =\ but I’m sure you can do it :)

    Hi!
The theme looks great, and I liked the changes. I’m not in the mood to name 10 of them, but maybe I’ll do it eventually.
I’ve never ever been on a diet, because I don’t worry too much about my wheight. I guess that cutting out excessive fat and sugar in your food helps out. Well, don’t know.

    =****

Well I was never around for the older version of this theme, but judging by the screen shots, this one looks much better. (I must say tho, that the green links are a bit hard on the eyes.)

I have no suggestions on the dieting thing- never been on one.
