Summertime and the livin’ is easy.
Yesterday I donned my sunglasses, slathered on some SPF 45 and migrated outside to take my place as resident iguana. I commandeered the hammock, kicked my neon-hued flip flops off, and roasted. Amazingly I’m still as white as when I started. I intend to do a repeat performance today. I like the sun. =D
Some people just don’t tan safely. Unfortunately I’m one of them.
What is your view on tanning?
Is there any safe way to tan?
Should pale people try to tan?
When is a person too tan?

I’m not a tanner, but I know people that are. I think it’s a little unhealthy for the skin, but if you use sunscreen it’s not terribly bad. As for pale people tanning, I don’t know. I’m always pale, and even if I’m in the sun.. my skin stays pale..
I can’t tan cuz I already have dark skin…so I can’t share my views on tanning - I don’t have any!
I have fair skin, but I get a nice tan during the summer. I know it’s unhealthy, and I try not to spend to much time in the sun. I will NOT lay in a tanning bed though. I draw the line there, although I have nothing against other people that do tan in tanning beds…it’s just not for me.
But I like lying in the sun as well, the sun feels good against’ your skin, but sunscreen is always good.
Thanks for the comment. Yeah it’s hard one me — like what if I called her once? Heh. But she gave me her number our sophomore year which was 2 years ago and well … I would feel stupid. But it hurts;\. Knowing I could’ve called her.
